Progress! Stop Selling! -Issue No.6 / August 2005

Dear Reader,

I recently included shadow coaching as part of the "Stop Selling!" program for one of our clients. What exactly is shadow coaching?  

Shadow coaching involves having a coach join the coachee in real business situations. The advantage of this method is that the coach can clearly see how much the coachee can apply previous training to his actual work. The coach can then provide very specific feed-forward and identify areas that require further attention.

From my experience so far, it appears to me that shadow coaching is another key ingredient for a highly effective learning experience.
