Program Format


Following our learning approach, Progress-U developed an effective format for leadership and sales competencies development:

1. Pre-Course Preparations

Purpose: increase engagement and self-awareness of participants; provide additional info for trainer to further optimize course content and delivery

2. Training Course

training course: seminar and/or workshop

depending on topic choice of seminar or workshop or blended format. Highly interactive and participative due to coaching style delivery.

Inclusion of 'real plays' (using real situations / persons) in order to make it more relevant and realisitic.

depending on topic and learning needs:

between 0.5 and 3 days; train-the-trainer courses up to 5 days


3. Post-Course Activities

group coaching sessions

follow-up meetings with all participants, either in meeting room or by phone or video conference.

Purpose: sharing of success stories, discussion why certain behavior changes didn't succeed, support during implementation, deepening of learning from seminar/workshop

2 - 5 sessions, 60-120min each, starting 1-2 weeks after course

1:1 coaching sessions

follow-up 1:1 coching sessions, if possible, including shadow coaching sessions (the coach joins the coachee in real work situations like meetings, etc.)

Purpose: deepening of learning from seminar/workshop, dealing with individual difficulties, specific and targeted development, encouragement

2 - 6 sessions, 45-90min each, starting 1-2 weeks after course

review sessions

meetings with management / HR to review past activities, determine necessary adjustments and potentially necessary further action

Purpose: assure effective development of participants, feedback on necessary improvements on both client and trainer side

ongoing, starting from training course, typically 2 - 5 sessions.
