Coaching is becoming more and more popular in China, as a growing number of managers see it as a very effective way to motivate and keep their best people. Widely used by major companies in the US and Europe, coaching requires a specific mindset and covers a whole set of skills.

In this seminar, the participants will learn the coaching mindset and some practical coaching tools that they can use to coach their people. They will be adjusted to the business environment in Asia, thanks to the business background of the trainer.

This seminar includes 2 follow-up group sessions by phone conference to assist the participants in implementing what they will learn.

About the Trainers

Charlie Lang is Managing Partner and a Professional Coach (CoachU) at Progress-U Ltd. He works with multinational companies in Greater China to develop their leaders, motivate their people and keep the best. Some clients he has served include: Allianz Insurance, Bayer Health Care, Bayer Material Science, L’Oreal, Total, HSBC, Barclays, TESCO, GEMALTO, DIXONS, etc…

Charlie is known for his innovative approaches towards leadership. He combines the latest findings in research combined with his own experience in international management and leadership (13-year corporate career, as Managing Director and VP Sales and Marketing). He is the author of “The Groupness Factor”, a book on First-Class Leadership which was published in August 2005. His articles got printed in Human Resources, CareerTimes, FZ Asia Magazine and AsiaPreneur, South China Morning Post etc…He also delivers a 120 hours course on coaching at the University of Hong Kong (HKU SPACE).

Charlie is the current president of the Hong Kong International Coaching Community.
