Profile of Jesse S. Hsu

Jesse S. Hsu specializes in Leadership Development, Communication and Work-Life Coaching. He works with executives who would like to:

     - optimize their leadership skills and manage productive relationships;
     - refine their communication effectiveness especially in crucial conversations;
     - retain and reenergize talents by increasing their career satisfaction.

Jesse is convinced that an organization rises and falls on leadership. Leaders who grow talents to match tasks are invaluable to their teams. They are keen in choosing influence vs. authority, conviction vs. convenience, and causing changes from inside out vs. top to bottom. They draw the best out of people both in performance and in spirit. Such leadership can be taught and transferred, but mainly learned through daily practice.

Jesse earned his MBA degree at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management while serving in marketing and finance functions in Procter & Gamble. Jesse later joined McKinsey & Company as a management consultant in the Asia Pacific region. Working with American and Chinese teams in USA and in Asia respectively, he then co-founded and managed the P&L of several companies.

Aside from being experienced in leading and communicating across cultures, he is also trained and certified by Columbia University as an Executive Coach.

Jesse is very happy to share his insights and experiences from his multi-facet career which includes building value-driven teams, building start-up businesses, serving in board & executive posts, wellness and energy management, his non profit involvement in teaching and counseling, and more than ten years of publishing in leadership and family topics.

Jesse has coached HR consultants, consulting firm partners, fast-track executives, department heads, CFOs, country general managers.
